Wifitrak is a simple tool to access free WiFi Hotspots in public areas quickly and easily. Once into the app it will directly start searching for WiFi networks in the vicinity. For more groundwork, you can check the found WiFi’s MAC address, channel, strength of the signal, noise and authentication, basically if the network is secure, open. It can also automatically scan for WiFi networks (from settings) when you are on the go, but I won’t recommend this as it can drain a lot of the battery life of the iPhone.
It’s a self explained tool and could come very handy when you are in a mall, in a pub or any other public place, to find free or secured networks.
